Support the person without making vulnerability public.
Care is designed for moments when someone is frightened, lost, overwhelmed, non-verbal, confused or unable to explain what they need. The emergency view can provide approved guidance and a contact route while keeping unnecessary information private.
The person or authorised guardian sets the boundaries. Visibility, contact routes and care guidance are prepared in advance. Organisational access is limited to approved roles and programme settings.
The helper sees a clear instruction, immediate alerts, contact options and an emergency-services reminder — not a complex medical record.
Where enabled and consented, nominated contacts can receive an alert when the emergency profile is activated and can be given a direct route to help.
Children and vulnerable adults require higher protection.
